Our Weekend

The weekend seemed to go by very fast because I had to work Monday. Rusty and Lucy went on a Land Rover adventure with some guys from work but I stayed home due to feeling yuk! They had a great day but Lucy cut her foot in the woods on some broken glass. So needless to say she has been getting much attention and pampering because of her foot. We have been soaking her foot in Epsom salt every night and wrapping it up. Rusty has been letting her sleep beside our bed and I think she is getting spoiled. Gracey does not seem to like the attention Lucy is getting. She would not eat yesterday, I think because she has been stressed out with Lucy getting a lot of attention. She seems to be very interested when we are taking care of Lucy's foot but she does not want any part in giving Lucy attention. They are like a bunch of kids. We also found out last week that Lucy is a true hunting dog. Rusty took her quail hunting and she was a natural. He was so excited. Sunday afternoon we fished around the pond a little and then watched some movies. Marley and Me is a really good movie! We also watched Bedtime Stories with Adam Sandler which was good also. Next weekend we are going to Wilmington for Easter! I am excited about seeing Laney! I will have to tell you all about the weekend when we return. Happy Easter!!!!!!!!
